The shortcut bar

A strip along the bottom of the library lists the shortcuts that apply to the view you're in. It changes as you switch views, and it steps aside while an import or an analysis run is showing its progress.

Closing the shortcut bar with its X is permanent. It stays hidden from then on, including after a restart, and there's no setting to bring it back.

Worth knowing

  • Shortcuts don't fire while you're typing in a search or a text box.
  • and jump by bars, so they do nothing on a track that hasn't been analyzed yet: there's no beatgrid to count.
  • , and . are bare keys only, since + , opens Settings.
  • Hover Preview is off every time you start Ora DJ, on purpose.
